Other Technical Writing Blogs?
Surprisingly, the pickings are slim. A search for "Technical Writing" on Technorati came up with the following:

1 - Darren Barefoot, who is a technical writer, but his blog isn't really dedicated to it.
2- Enrevanche, written by Barry Campbell, who's a technology consultant, and, coincidentally a Scorpio, like me. (secret Scorpio handshake)
3 - Nimbupani - I have no idea what it's about!
4 - SmartTechWriting - Now THAT's a tech writing blog!

At number 7 is Mark wants a Porsche. It has a cool minimalist look and Mark admits that he talks a bit about tech writing.

Listings 9 and 10 seem to be solid tech writing blogs: Technically Speaking and Write Technology.

I actually thought there'd be more focused blogs on this subject, but hey, I'm happy to be at number 4 considering how young this blog is! Anyway, I'll try to post something more substantive tomorrow.

Hi I have been writing on my Tech Writing blog for close to 3 years now. Check it out. tw-india.blogspot.com

Jeff,

Glad that you found "Enrevanche" (my personal blog) but also wanted to point out that I have a much more professionally focused blog called Knowledge Work, over here: http://campbell-online.com/blog.

Am pleased to find "Smart Tech Writing," and will add it to the blogroll.

There are a bunch of tech writing blogs; funny that technorati doesn't turn them up. Actually looking over my list most of these are blogs by tech writers; they don't specifically stay on focus 100% of the time.

Further to Laura's comment, it's been tough for me to stay completely on the tech writing subject. Not that much happens, really, and so it gets easier and easier to stray to other topics. I think also, for myself, the more I talk about tech writing, the less I want to talk about tech writing. The things that go into good tech writing are usually covered quite well by others more qualified than me, so I find myself just linking more and more often. Since that's happening, I'm debating whether to close the blog entirely.

You might want to check out my blog devoted ONLY to technical writing. The URL is http://2brahulprabhakar.blogspot.com/

Thanks,
Rahul Prabhakar
