Hard sell copywriting for Apple?
If you've taken a look at the Apple corporate website lately, they've been pretty aggressive with their campaign to push Macs as PC replacements. In fact, they'r epushed the campaign so far as to letting go of the "Think different" soft selling and went for the more hardcore 14 Reasons Why You Should Get a Mac.

The presentation is absolutely superb, cornering PC users not just with the '14 Reasons' spiel but also with the '6 Disillusions Disspelled.'

Is Apple shifting their gear to cut throat marketing tactics with their own version of the 95 Theses?

Haha, I like your analogy. Will the PC establishment begin their own counter-reformation? Only time will tell!
