Online value of space for writing
Money is the only reason for the fierce debate between the effectivity of long and short copy in traditional media; you need more space, you pay more. So even if research has consistently shown long copy outperforms short, clients are reluctant to loosen the purse strings.

But the Internet isn't hampered by such a limitation, given that $10/month provides 500MB of hosted webspace. You can literally fit millions of documents in that. An informal "study" provides proof that well-written long copy stils beats its short counterpart, even in a medium that caters to short attention spans.

Can we be like Apple, that is breaking the trend of technical writing and making things more appealing to the target market?
