Technology versus Technology Lifestyle Writing
I'd like to share with you a short article I wrote that got published in Darren Rowse's Problogger several months ago. I wanted to talk about two different schools of thought when writing about technology and also ended up talking about how to increase your site's popularity by creating a lifestyle-oriented post.

It is good to make a distinction between writing about technology from a technical standpoint versus the lifestyle angle, vis a vis the intended market.

Usually, lifestyle-oriented posts provide friendly points of entry for new readers, helping them graduate into the "geekier" (pardon the term) side of things much later.

You can read the full entry here.
