Though it is still on beta, Gliffy promises an easy to use flowcharting application all with the power of your web browser. In essence, Gliffy is more than just a flow chart creation app. It can create diagrams, pipelines, floor plans and technical layouts.

Because it can be done on your web browser, you can track changes and comments made by anyone who has access to your flowchart. Say technical writer A creates the basic workflow and technical writer B does the text. Then you have head engineer C inserting comments and changes for final approval.

Gliffy will have two versions - a free version with online ads scattered all over the place and a commercial version with more features.
