One of the teams in our magazine is composed of our creative director, the editorial assistant, editor in chief and the managing editor (moi!). One of the ways we keep in sync with layout and proofreading is by passing around a box of candy whenever a page layout is finished. This is one way of keeping motivation up in the team as well as showing the time intervals between pages. The more we eat - the shorter the intervals.
At
KMM, authors like me receive a
Pez candy dispenser as well as an
unlimited supply of Pez candy from Dan's pockets. We are encouraged to pop a candy from the dispenser after every post (sometimes I cheat and pop even when I'm not posting). This is one great way to keep the motivation going when writing.
In the picture is my thumbs up to the Darth Vader Pez dispenser and unlimited Pez!
I love the PEZ - it adds to our little KMM culture. My one-year-old loves it, too, unfortunately :).
