"The world's biggest software group" was fined 280.5 million euros earlier this week by the European Union for abuse of its dominant position in the market, and it now faces additional fines of up to 3 million euros a day if it fails to produce appropriate documentation that will open up the secrets of its operating system to the company's competitors in the coming days.
The company [is] devoting substantial resources to compliance. More than 300 employees are working on technical documents and the group has promised to deliver by July 24.

Well, the humble tech writer has always been valuable, especially if he can produce easily understood, readable and informative content.
