Tip: Use the military as reference
I was recently sent a ShieldZone Invisible Shield protector for my Canon 350D camera. What ultimately sold me to the product were two things - the first was the picture of a pen trying to break through the screen protector. The second was the product marketing text at the back of the plastic:

"Originally designed to to protect the leading edges of military helicopter blades from wear and tear while traveling at hundreds of miles per hour, now the SHIELD(tm) has been perfected to protect ALL your gadgets.

Products that have their roots in military use tend to be marketed much more easily. Fact? Or fiction?  Well, it doesn't matter really, because no one messes with the army!
