The word AIN”T, which is a corruption of the contraction AREN’T, is a typical American colloquialism, one that has become accepted in daily use even if it is considered an abomination of Queen’s English. But then, when certain BLOKES can’t be trusted to render their own language in the manner it deserves, one could then overlook aberrations like this.
In general, however, one must avoid using the word AIN’T in the more formal world of business, where style, precision, and the ability to get one’s idea across succinctly provide norms that should be followed (to the extent possible). When writing novels, stories, or informal communications, the use of words like AIN’T would probably not hurt anyone, especially if one were mimicking Huck Finn and Tom Sawyer!
