A writer also experiences cramps of another sort. This malady afflicts almost all writers without exception. I refer to none other than a mental block that keeps the creative juices from getting started. A few writers manage to get started after a cup or two of coffee, while others go look for their quiet places where their imaginations get properly stimulated.
And yet, if one were to simple glance around a room, or a garden, one would be able to find hundreds of things to write about. The most mundane items or settings could be woven into amazing and colorful tapestries…mirroring the many facets of ordinary everyday life.
All it takes is a special ability to see beyond what the eye only thinks it sees. Try it sometime.
