Devoted to technical writing and technical writers

That's the title of my new piece. The subtitle goes something like:  "and other stories of utmost boredom."

For several years I've been using that title as a way to demonstrate the most boring of topics because of sheer abstraction. Gary Larson and other comic geniuses use this phrase as a symbolic gesture of "WTF-ness" which no one really gets to understand.

In the same way, when we are sitting down with our paper and pen and do not know what to write about, let us try our best not to be swept away by such abstracted pieces, unless we are doing a social commentary. Let's go deep and specific and tackle real issues in our own town, city or State. Not concepts that are too general to even have a decent conclusion. The world isn't ideal anymore.
