Believe it or not, I've gotten into a Crocs frenzy. Not only are these shoes so laid back and comfortable, they're also colorful and artistic. That's why I'd really recommend these as "nontraditional" gifts for fellow writers who derive inspiration from walking down the pier with the sea breeze blowing through.

They're a little on the expensive side for slippers / ultra comfortable casual shoes, but one pair won't hurt ya.
